Mission statement

OneGeology is the global accelerator to enable access, usability and availability of trusted geoscience data, for the benefit of society.

Objectives

  • To accelerate the completed digitisation of subsurface geological parameters
  • To champion 'FAIR' practices in trusted and open geoscience data
  • To ensure and exchange know-how and skills to maximise participation
  • To empower the OneGeology community to increase awareness of digital geosciences and their ability to support shared scientific challenges
  • To champion the use and promote development of common geodata standards and interoperability

The goal of OneGeology is to realise these five objectives to enhance the digital geoscience community.
